On Course Foundation USA Launches New Online Presence
Clubessential partnered with On Course Foundation USA to build a new online presence for the non-profit organization which helps disabled veterans.

The On Course Foundation and Clubessential: Partners with a Commitment to Aiding Veterans

The On Course Foundation (OCF) aids wounded and sick veterans and service personnel in their recovery process through the game of golf. Between running golf tuition events, as well as placing veterans in jobs within the golf industry, the non-profit organizations works to see that veterans and service personnel get the necessary assistance to build up their confidence and begin new professions.

We spoke to John Dodds, Executive Director of the Foundation, about their new website which Clubessential designed and launched in December 2015, as well as the rewarding relationship between our two organizations

This partnership between OCF and Clubessential has its origins in a mutual relationship with Congressional Country Club, host of the 2014 Simpson Cup, a tournament organized by OCF, and modeled after the Ryder Cup with teams from the US and UK. With a clear mission to help veterans, the OCF realized that they needed to expand their reach via an appealing website with effective communications capabilities. As Dodds recalled, “We knew instantly that Clubessential was the right company to build our unique websites, and our decision was vindicated further after speaking with their professional staff.”

Clubessential took deliberate steps to ensure that the website build-out was a smooth process, and that the final product not only captured the vision of the OCF, but also allowed them to communicate and engage with their target audience. From the outset, the project of designing a website and seeing it come to fruition can appear very daunting. Yet Dodds noted that any concerns disappeared upon his first discussion with the team at Clubessential, as his project manager and web designers were “really proactive in their suggestions and were able to meet all our needs. Throughout this process, the team did everything possible to ensure our vision for the site was brought to reality.”

The new website contains numerous features that convey OCF’s message and capture visitors’ attention. Among these features are images of veterans and service personnel engaged in competition on the golf course, as well as call to action items that allow visitors to make donations and support the OCF’s employment program.

The Clubessential and OCF relationship has been rewarding for both organizations, and Dodds is excited about where things are going.
“The On Course Foundation is set to expand significantly over the next three years so having the flexibility to gradually increase the size and user options on the site is great,” said Dodds. “Everyone at the On Course Foundation is absolutely delighted with the final result and we are excited to be taking our charity forward with this brand new website.”

Clubessential looks forward to continuing this partnership for years to come. We recognize the important and noble mission of the On Course Foundation, and look forward to aiding the OCF as they see that mission through.
