Clubessential’s Technology Trajectory
The graph below shows the cumulative number of enhancements made to Clubessential’s products since they were first released in 1997. Note that from 1997 to the middle of 2002 the rate of enhancement was at one level. The rate increased only modestly from mid-2002 until 2005 during the conversion to the new platform. But then, starting in 2005, the rate of improvement jumped by a factor of eight through April of 2006. During 2005, the Clubessential products advanced twice as much as they had in the prior seven years combined!
Other vendors will also experience a similar jump in productivity, but only after they invest the time to re-write their products using the new technology and then convert their user-base to the new systems, a process that required 2.5 years for Clubessential. During this delay, Clubessential will continue to race ahead with an eight-fold advantage in technology trajectory.
