Clubessential’s “news items” appear as a list of short descriptions in news windows, which, when clicked, open into fully editable pages that can have graphics, background colors, etc.

• Any number of news windows can be placed throughout the website, mixed with other types of content on the same pages.
• Each news window can have unlimited articles.
• Each article can be designed with the advanced editor, including photos, graphics, etc. 
• Templates can be used or modified to jump-start design.
• Articles can appear in one or multiple news windows.
• Articles can be hidden pending approval.
• Automatic expiration/removal & archiving of articles ensures that stale news does not remain visible (e.g., an invitation to an event does not remain on the website after the event.).
• A special “What’s New” version of the news window displays recent articles and events.

Even though PhotoSync may have allowed an administrator to upload and resize several hundred photos very quickly, adding those photos one-by-one to a series of webpages might be impractical, especially if the photos are time-sensitive.  The solution: a slide show viewer that lets users view all the photos in one or more categories without any further work on the part of the administrator.

• An unlimited number of slide show areas of various sizes can be set up throughout the website, mixed with other content on the same pages.
• Display options include: Thumb-nail display; Rotating photos with special effects; User-controlled slide show (with Next-Previous buttons).
• Client administrator can switch the displayed photo categories at any time with a couple of clicks.
• Members can share photos with each other with built-in "send to a friend" button

By combining Slide Show Viewers and PhotoSync, administrators can post 150 photos of a party to the website even before the band is done packing up their equipment.

A frequent requirement of an interactive website is the display of a multitude of documents or objects in such a way that the list can be easily extended or re-ordered, and users can not only view but download the items listed.  Some examples: 1) A list of back issues of newsletters, stored as PDF files or HTML pages; 2) A list of a music repertoire, with MP3’s ready to download; 3) A club’s operating documents, organized for easy review and modification. 

Creating such a list the first time is not very difficult, but for a busy administrator a tool is required to make ongoing management easy.    Clubessential’s multi-level list tool provides a simple way to maintain a long list, including adding, deleting and re-ordering items.

• Unlimited items can be stored in up to nine indented levels.
• Items can include newsletters, photos, graphics, links to websites, Word documents, Excel documents, PowerPoint slide shows, PDF files, MP3 files, and a long list of other types of files.
• An unlimited number of additional webpages, fully editable using the standard editor, can be added by the administrator and then shown as items in the list.
• Each item can include a short description, a title, a sub-title and an identifying icon, such as a bullet, a flag, etc.
• Grouping folders conveniently organize items for easy retrieval.

Tabbed Pages can be used to display multiple pages of content, including graphics, text, and other kinds of objects, but organized through a tab-navigation structure similar to the one that the current page appears under.

• Tabbed Pages can be embedded on any dynamic webpage.
• Pages can contain any kind of content which can appear on a standard page.
• AJAX technology allows flipping from one tabbed page to another by clicking a tab, but without any page refresh delay.

Tabbed Pages make possible delivery of large amounts of information without requiring scrolling.

The Indexed Page Display is useful for reciprocal club listings, property-for-sale listings,  services listings, and a variety of other listings that require a series of full page graphic displays of similar items indexed in multiple ways.

• Clients can add unlimited pages using the standard editor.
•  Each page can have a full graphic layout with multiple pictures, tables, etc.
• Each page can be categorized one or multiple times within the tree-style hierarchical index. For example, reciprocal clubs could be categorized by both state and type.  Or a wine list could be categorized by type, by price, and by region within country of origin.  Or homes for sale could be categorized by location, by price, by size, and by architectural style.
• Mini-descriptions of all the items in a category appear when the category is selected, and then clicking an item’s mini-description opens a full page description.
• The tree index can take on multiple appearances.  Templates can be used to make addition of items quick while producing sophisticated layouts.
