Dr. Ivers has more than 30 years of experience in the software industry and founded several companies, one of which became an Inc. 500 software marketing firm. He also founded and is now a partner in Venture Builders, a management consulting firm. Dr. Ivers earned a bachelor’s degree in Combined Sciences from Yale University, a Ph.D. in Applied Oceanography from the Scripps Institution, and an OPM Business Management degree from Harvard University.

Before joining Clubessential, Mr. Ivers gained seven years of experience as a project manager, system architect and senior developer working on internet technology and digital branding solutions. Mr. Ivers worked at firms including: Hill Holiday, Zentropy Partners, CAP Gemini and Octagon Technology while consulting for a portfolio of clients: Proctor & Gamble, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Genzyme, Cohn & Wolfe, The San Diego Convention Center and North Pacific Corporation. Mr. Ivers joined Clubessential as Vice President – Technology in 2002. He was promoted to Vice President of the corporation in May of 2004 and now has an active role in sales and marketing as well as general management. Mr. Ivers graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

Thomas A. Ivers

Mr. Ivers developed software for netcaddy.com early in his career and also worked for Cadre Computer Resources, Zentropy Partners and Bruno, Mack & Barclay. In the latter job Mr. Ivers was tasked with sifting information from massive (terabyte size) databases provided in discovery for major lawsuits (e.g., tobacco litigation). This work taught him how to efficiently access huge databases and how to build systems that scale appropriately as the amount of data and transactions increase enormously. In 2004 Tom was promoted to Vice President of Technology and managed the design of the Rapid Application Development infrastructure that drives Clubessential’s technology today. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Technology in 2007. Mr. Ivers received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Business from Wake Forest University’s Calloway School of Business, with special emphasis on business modeling, simulation and process analysis.

James J. Dries

Mr. Dries began his career as an investment banker working with Banc of America Securities, working on equity, debt, and M&A transactions totaling more than $8 billion dollars over 5 years in the Energy and Power sector. In 2004 he joined the Corporate Executive Board, a publicly traded consulting company, leading Sales and Marketing teams in the Sales, Marketing and Communications practice area. Mr. Dries joined Clubessential in April of 2008 as a Vice President to head the introduction of Clubessential's NetCaddy Reservations Suite of products. Mr. Dries received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University, and is currently in the process of earning an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Katherine Ivers

Ms. Ivers was a Project Manager for Zentropy Partners, where she managed production schedules and resources for multiple Internet advertising projects. She next worked as a web site architect for Clubessential, followed by a position as a Senior Project Manager for WeMedia and managed all the media relations for the WeMedia Paralympics Web Cast. During her years at WeMedia she became interested in intellectual property law and decided to pursue her law degree. Upon graduation she worked as an attorney for the Chicago firm of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon in the area of intellectual property litigation for five years. Ms. Ivers joined Clubessential in February of 2009 as Vice President, Account Managment and also as Clubessential's General Counsel. Ms. Ivers received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Yale University, where she was captain of the Ivy League Champion Yale Swimming team. She received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago (Magna Cum Laude).

Douglas E. Lee

Mr. Lee has over 20 years experience in the accounting profession. His diverse background in accounting includes manufacturing, finance and technology. He has worked at First National Bank, Hamilton Fixture Company, MAE Holding Company, Groves Funding and Micros Control Systems. Because of this diversity, Mr. Lee has helped institute controls and procedures that streamline the interaction between Clubessential and its clients in financial transactions to help solidify Clubessential’s presence in the market. Mr. Lee was promoted from Controller to Director of Finance in December 2006 after joining Clubessential in 2005. Mr. Lee graduated from Miami University Oxford with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting Major.
